Kathryn Alison (Kali) Ciesemier grew up in the fertile midwestern fields surrounding Chicago, Illinois. Daring to brave the eastern seaboard, she graduated with a BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2008, and somehow found her way into the offices of Big Huge Games.

Kali has red hair, and wears glasses so she can see better.
