Gaston Sweeten
Assistant Programmer

Gaston Sweeten is no stranger to video games. He spent many years of his childhood familiarizing himself with them in what he refers to as "research" on his Nintendo® Entertainment System. These years of "study" sparked his interest in game development, explosions, zombies, and exploding zombies.

It was clear early on that Gaston wanted to get a job as a game programmer or as a robot. "But being a robot isn't a job," you might say. Well no, being a robot is not a job. Being a robot is freaking awesome.

Originally from South Texas, Gaston migrated north to Seattle where the coffee was better. There, he was trained in the ancient martial art of game programming at the DigiPen Institute of Technology. After years of hard work (and caffeine) he reemerged into the world as more of a game developer than a human.

Roughly 1.07 fortnights after graduating from DigiPen, Gaston began work as an assistant programmer at Big Huge Games (where he also discovered a peculiar interest in uncommon units of time measurement).
