Barry Nardone
Artist
Barry
started drawing at the age of 3, and discovered his love
of playing games soon after. As he got older, he decided
to turn his hobbies into a career and attended the Rochester
Institute of Technology in the frozen tundra that is Rochester,
NY.
After receiving a BFA in film and animation, he landed a job at a small company
animating the likes of Crash Bandicoot and Spiderman
in pre-rendered cut scenes. He then moved to northern
California and joined Crystal Dynamics to work on another
famous video game character: Lara Croft. After two years
of working with Ms. Croft, and ready to break free of
the confines of established franchises; Barry was looking
forward to working on exciting, original ideas, and
moved back east to join Big Huge Games as an animator.
Barry’s tastes in gaming range from first-person
shooters, to 3rd person action, to role-playing games.
He is particularly fond of the Castlevania, God of War,
and Half-Life series. When not animating, Barry can
be found hanging out with his wife and dog, playing
videogames, and enjoying east coast style pizza (i.e.
without pineapples, avocados, and other strange toppings).
