Alex Owens
Assistant Programmer
Alex's first memory of video games is playing Super Mario World for the SNES. He has put many hours into games since that point (through the N64, Dreamcast, PC, PS2, Xbox, and finally on to the Xbox 360).
Alex did not realize he wanted to make games until he saw an ad for a college called Full Sail in an issue of PSM one day. He talked it over with some of his friends and then off they went to college, with barely any programming experience.
Full Sail taught Alex almost everything he knows. Soon after graduating, he received a position as a Tools Programmer at Midway Studios - Austin. However, after only two weeks at Midway, the game he was working on was canceled and he was laid off as a result. Obviously, this was for the better, as Alex then got a position here at Big Huge Games.
