Below is the Quickstart (for the more technically savvy online gamer). We also have more detailed step-by-step help available for you if you need more information than the Quickstart provides.

QUICKSTART (for the technically savvy):
If you have a Firewall (e.g., Norton, Zone Alarm, Microsoft ISA Server, Cisco PIX, Checkpoint, etc):
- Allow 6112 UDP traffic, both Incoming and Outgoing.
If you have a Router and/or are behind a NAT (e.g., Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, etc):
- Forward port 6112 UDP traffic (incoming and outgoing) to the computer you are playing Rise of Legends on.
Still having issues? While many consumer Routers/Firewalls allow most Outgoing traffic, this is not always the case. Gamespy requires the following ports to be open for Outgoing traffic, so you may need to configure your Firewall and/or Router to:
Allow OUTGOING traffic on:
UDP 27900
UDP 29910
TCP 29900
TCP 29901
TCP 29920
UDP 27901
TCP 6667
TCP 28910
