Job Purpose and Responsibilities:

The Systems Designer works closely with the Lead Designer and other Designers from project inception to completion and plays a significant role in conceiving and crafting the game experience. Responsibilities include:

Designing the combat, magic, simulation, behavior, exploration, and role-playing systems
Working with programmers to implement and refine those systems, and to design and develop design tools
Managing balance, challenge, reward, and advancement systems
Managing a systems design and game balance team day-to-day

Skills and Experience:

2+ years professional game development experience
Minimum of one AAA title shipped as a Systems Designer on PC or console (experience in RPG a plus)
