Big Huge Games is looking for a talented and seasoned Quality Assurance Lead to fill a newly open role in our growing QA Department. The QA Lead will work closely with the QA Manager in fostering the best team and practices in order to continuously raise the quality bar. The ideal candidate will possess several years experience and two or more shipped projects to their credit, as well as a passion and dedication towards the QA practice and creating AAA titles.

Responsibilities:

Report results, status updates, and issues directly to the QA Manager.
Manage the execution of daily QA assignments and tasks.
Supervise senior testers and testers.
Assist Senior QA testers with test case creation, management, and implementation.
Day to Day management of QA department procedures
Assume QA manager responsibilities in the QA Managers absence.

Skills and Experience:

3 years of game development QA experience
At least 2 credited titles in a QA senior or lead role
Platform Certification experience
Knowledge of various QA practices and methodologies
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Self starting with a positive and enthusiastic outlook on the QA process

Plusses:

Any Programming/Scripting experience
Hardware installation and configuration experience
Experience with Alexsys TEAM or similar bug tracking or task management systems
